Hi, we're Sophie and Hannah - sisters, and the two people behind Spectrum.

We founded Spectrum in 2014 from a garage in Barry, South Wales. Before that, we'd spent our time behind the scenes in the creative industries - on set, watching the artistry behind every picture-perfect look come together.

That world shaped how we think about tools: we wanted to merge fashion and beauty into each brush and accessory we made, giving beauty lovers the tools to create a photo-ready finish at home.

From that garage, we've grown into a brand loved by professional artists and everyday makeup lovers alike, but we remain fiercely independent - that hasn't changed since day one.

It still comes back to the same idea we started with: beauty is a Spectrum, and everyone's invited.
